BACHMANN LAUNCHES iPHONE APP
By Luke Hellier | September 3, 2010
Woodbury, MN– With the campaign season in full swing, Bachmann for Congress is pleased to announce the launch of the “Bachmann for Congress” Iphone Application. Offering an innovative blend of dynamically updated content and social media with the ability to sign up campaign volunteers and collect mobile contributions, the app extends the campaign’s reach by converting supporters into well-equipped field workers.
“This application will help us reach the people of the 6th District right where they are, at a time and place most convenient for them” saidolitical Advisor Andy Parrish.
The app is available now for free download from the iTunes App Store.
Bachmann For Congress offers users an easy way to sign up for the campaign’s mailing and volunteer list, share the campaign and the app with friends through the supporter’s social media channels, and collect contributions right from the iPhone. Users can easily access the latest news and events for the campaign, and use audio and video clips to help get others excited about Michele’s campaign.
The application is designed with a web-based back end that allows immediate updates of dynamic content. The Home Screen also has rotating “banners” that allow the campaign to highlight events and provide rapid response to fast-breaking news. Each banner links to yet another dynamic view so the campaign can provide details to support the broad banner messages.
Key features of Bachmann for Congress include:
- Integrated campaign NewsFeed offering a combined view of all campaign messaging including: Emails, Blog posts, Facebook, Twitter, and even Text Messages.
- Mobile-optimized access to the campaign YouTube channel allowing supporters to search videos by title, tags, or topics. The feature also includes re-share functions encouraging supporters to post campaign videos directly into Facebook, Twitter, or include them via email to all your friends and contacts!
- Sharing capability that uses the supporter’s Facebook, Twitter, Email and text messages to rapidly spread campaign info, and allows the campaign to dynamically pre-configure the message that is posted.
- Dynamic home screen views that can be changed on-demand by the campaign, providing rapid response to fast-breaking news, take action, campaign updates and events, or links to additional online information.
- Using push notifications, the campaign can alert users – even when the app isn’t open.

It is great to see the Dayton campaign throwing this mud at Emmer. I hope they keep throwing crap at each other for the next two months.
It can only help Tom Horner get elected.

Alec, you need to organize a protest. Yell really loud, and be sure to carry a lot of Dayton signs. Mumbling incoherent bullshit is a great imperspnation of the drunk, mentally deranged Mark Dayton.
Luke, you do the same on behalf of Emmer. Eight weeks to go for you guys to demonstrate clearly what complete assholes the DFL and GOP candidates are!
This is your time!!!

Tarryl Clark picked a bad year to run for Congress. Democrats are saddled with a wildly unpopular president, and the DFL goobernatorial candidate insists on enacting for the state the same unpopular policies that have failed at the national level.
Tarryl Clark took her turn fucking over Minnesotans, now she wants to take her lack of talent to Washington… a city overcroweded with failures like she is.

Somehow I don’t think that many Bachmann supporters use iPhones. They just weren’t that big in 1773.
September 5th, 2010 at 3:47 AM
Indeed, Hector. But what amazes me is how DFLers will spend $100+ per month on an iPhone plan, but refuse to buy food to feed their families.
September 5th, 2010 at 7:01 PM
What amazes me is how sotaman can suggest that any Minnesotan would deny their family basic needs such as food and shelter.
I’m sure there must be some Republicans who pull that stunt too, right sotaman?

Obviously brome has never been in a MN casino parking lot on pay day or when the gov checks arrive.

You’re kidding, right danbrome? I mean seriously, no one could be that stupid!
Have you ever worked with people that receive taxpayer money? If you have you know that there are many who will use their money for drugs, alcohol, and cigs before paying their rent or buying food.
You need to get out of your mothers basement more boy.

job10..
I suppose you think that every one of those people in the MN casino parking lots is a Democrat, right?
September 6th, 2010 at 2:56 PM
Focused..
I’m well aware of the fact that people blow their money on crap.
It’s just ridiculous for you to suggest they are DFLers.

“you know that there are many who will use their money for drugs, alcohol, and cigs before paying their rent or buying food.”
Indeed… and they are called DFLers.

“I suppose you think that every one of those people in the MN casino parking lots is a Democrat, right?”
Just the ones who are depriving their families.

“It’s just ridiculous for you to suggest they are DFLers.”
Nothing ridiculous about stating basic facts.

And since when has microwaves, color TVs, Cable, cell phones and IPods become a basic need? If they have money for that crap, they can pay their own bills.
